We are team-oriented and are highly skilled in our area of expertise. Having said that, we still believe we have something to learn from everyone within our company. The president can learn from the receptionist and the recruiter can learn from the consultant. You are required to "check your ego at the door" when you report for work at Aurora Information Systems. Each person at Aurora has something worthwhile to contribute and deserves to be heard.

Small Company Atmosphere

Because Aurora is a small company, we are much more dynamic and can react quickly to our customers and employees' desires. There is not a long "chain of command" to make decisions. Aurora empowers their people to make decisions.

Dress Code

Dress code at Aurora is jeans and a T-shirt. Dress code at client sites will depend on the client requirements for dress. Some clients are stricter than others are, but we must adhere to their requirements when we are on their site.

Communication

Because Aurora has a majority of consultants on the road, constant communication (email) is vital to maintaining a cohesive group. Each consultant is provided with a laptop to ensure success not only at the client site, but also accessibility through email. Aurora holds an annual company meeting/Christmas party every year, complete with travel for spouse or significant other to attend. This is a time when employees can meet new recruits and allow everyone to get to know each other better.

Attitude

Above everything else, attitude is the most important part of our culture at Aurora. Anyone with a good attitude and aptitude can be taught the skills to become a successful consultant. The only obstacle to moving within the corporate ladder is you. If you work hard to learn and apply what you have learned and go the extra mile for the client, you will be guaranteed success at Aurora Information Systems.
